How to Install groovy software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

groovy software package provides Agile dynamic language for the Java Virtual Machine, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install groovy

groovy is installed in your system.

Make ensure the groovy package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep groovy *

You will get with groovy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
